The year 2020 has been a very unusual year of special significance in the history of New China.

In the year of building a well-off society in an all-round way and the end of the "13th Five-Year Plan", the whole country has been united as one to n the critical battle against poverty and achieve the first centenary goal. This year is of great challenge. The sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic has brought an unprecedented blow to China's economic and social development. Looking at the world, China has become the first major economy to return to growth since the pandemic and has taken the lead in the world in both epidemic control and economic recovery. Multiple facts illustrate that the fundamentals sustaining China’s steady and long-term economic growth remain unchanged.

The current international and domestic demand is relatively low, and the development of China's beverage industry is facing challenges. Although there has been undergone volatility adjustments all through the year, after the effects of various factors such as China’s institutional advantages, economic foundation, development potential, etc., have gradually become prominent, the new development pattern of the industrial’s new development stage have formed through mutual promotion of internal and external demand, internal and external, and international and domestic.

CBIA’s various conferences and activities this year were held as scheduled. The 10th China International Beverage Industry Exhibition on Science and Technology (CBST2021) was successfully launched. The development of the industry is gradually recovering. It is fully integrated into the trend of “the establishment of a "dual circulation" development pattern in which domestic economic cycle plays a leading role while international economic cycle remains its extension and supplement". Despite the severe and complex domestic and international environment, it is a rare opportunity for the structural adjustment and innovative development of China's beverage industry. Looking forward to the coming year, the industry is looking forward to CBST2021, known as an important industry event every two years.

The 10th China International Beverage Industry Exhibition on Science and Technology (CBST2021) will make every effort to create a "full industry chain" ecosystem, and comprehensively assist the high-quality and innovative development of China's beverage industry.
